UPCOMING EVENTS

 Aug. 14th – Guest Speaker – Galcom Ministries Director, Tim
Whitehead
 Aug. 28th – Student Send-off
WHAT DOES GALCOM MINISTRIES DO?
Over 4.5 billion people in the world are oral learners. Either they cannot
read, they do not have a written language or they belong to an oral
culture. Providing audio players and radios is the only way to reach
these people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In Matthew 9:37, Jesus said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is
plentiful, but the laborers are few.”
Galcom exists to give help and tools to the missionaries that have
answered the call of Christ to “Go into all the world and preach the
gospel to every creature,” Mark 16:15. By using radios missionaries are
able to multiply their impact and reach more people and a larger area
with the Gospel every day. Come and hear from Director Tim
Whitehead, about how and where Galcom is reaching souls for Christ!
SMALL GROUPS
Please help us find the lost pieces. While assembling our “Small
Groups” material we find that there are some missing pieces. If you
have any written material (complete or partial), books or DVDs that you
have used in the past please return to the office. Thanks for your help.
THE REFUGE
“The Refuge” has a new evening program from 7 - 10:30 p.m. Monday
to Thursday. Volunteers are needed to interact with homeless street
youth while encouraging and allowing them to feel Jesus love. To apply
please fill out the volunteer application found at www.refuge.center or
call The Refuge at 905-404-2420.
