What are ecosystems? Ecosystems are gropus of plants and animals that depend on one another for survival. Questionary 3. How animals have adapted to this environment? Animals have adapter to this environment either by migration or by hibernation. Questionary 6. What does the Brown bear do before hibernating and during hibernation? Before hibernating, these animals eat a lot of food, which they store as fat. They cannot regulate their body temperatures like mammals can, so their body temperature depend on the otudoor temperature. They use the sun to keep warm and sometimes go underground to keep cool. They are found all over the worl din both temperate and tropical climates. Grasslands are often located between ten and thirty-six inches per year. About one-fourth of the earth is grassland.
