INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Canada Geography is based on the illustrated
LearnSmart Canada Map.
These teaching aids should be used together because they form an integrated system that lets
students work independently.
1. The illustrated poster-sized
LearnSmart Canada Map (22”x30”) is for the classroom.
The reverse side shows important geographic and political information about Canada and
a history time line.
2. The binder-sized
LearnSmart Canada Map (81/2”x11”) is for students.
It is a smaller version of the poster-sized Canada Map. It is laminated for durability and
fits into school binders. This allows students to refer to their own map when working.
It lets them proceed at their own speed, and teaches them independence and good
study habits.
3. Canada Geography contains 25 maps - all different from each other. To prevent mix-ups,
the worksheet and the corresponding map have the same number.
EXAMPLE: Page #1 called “Where is Canada?” corresponds and should be used with
Map #1 called “Where is Canada?”
