A continuous bus service to the city of Santander is available from Bilbao Airport and from the Port of Santurce (P&O Ferry Terminal, close to Bilbao). There are two daily “Talgo” trains from Madrid and one from Alicante, as well as a daily express train from Madrid and Intercity services connecting with Spain’s principal cities. There are also three trains daily from Bilbao, and two from Oviedo and several local train services.
