So, what does this mean for you as our customers? First, all Washington Savings Bank customers will have the convenience of a third full-service branch located in Mattoon. Many people travel from Effingham to Mattoon for work, shopping, and recreation activities. Additionally, Effingham area customers will now have access to an experienced team of Trust and Investment bankers. This is a new service we can offer because of the merger. Another significant benefit of this merger is the combined financial strength of Washington Savings Bank. New Positions Announced Burgholzer, Bushue and Fearday take on new roles Casey Burgholzer has accepted the position as branch manager at our Keller Drive location. She had been employed by Centrue Bank since February of 2010, before joining Washington Savings Bank with its acquisition of the Keller Drive facility from Centrue in June 2010. Burgholzer resides in Effingham with her husband, Andy. They have a 5-year-old daughter and are expecting a baby boy in April. She also is active in the community, including serving as a mentor for the Effingham Unit 40 Mentoring Program. Greg Bushue has accepted the position of personal banker at the Keller Drive location. Bushue has worked at the bank for over a year and will take on the new position of personal banker at the Keller Drive location. Before coming to work at the bank, Bushue worked at Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota as an F&I Manager. Ryan Fearday, who had previously served as the Keller Drive Branch manager, has relocated to the Banker Street location where he will focus on consumer and small business lending. Fearday resides in Effingham with his wife, Ann, and two daughters, a 2-year-old and a newborn. He is a member of YBNext, where he serves on the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce’s Future Fair Committee and Scholarship Selection Committee.
