Due to the fact that the salary schedule was redesigned effective for the 2008-2009 school year, teachers
employed during the 2007-2008 school year were placed on the 2008-2009 schedule at designated steps.
A 2008-2009 placement list is maintained by both the Board and the Association. Step movement for 20092010 and thereafter shall be from the 2008-2009 designated placements. In recognition of the effects of
the redesigned salary schedule, certain teachers employed for the 2007-2008 school year shall be removed
from the salary schedule and shall receive salary increases each of the years of the contract as agreed.
