BUSINESS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES:
Darryl continued regarding attendance at D.C. meetings, by club delegates, advising he had
contacted some of the clubs direct.
Swap Meet
The swap meet was not as well attended as it could have been, many suggestions put forward
for this including the amount of swaps that are now held. It was also suggested the fees be
raised to $10.00 for swap sites & $5.00 for entry. Maybe more emphasis on the show and shine.

National Guidelines have been accepted and the rules are up on
DOTARS if you want to download them, to be named LO6 and they will be
implemented early 2009. A paper is being prepared by Tim Bartrop showing
approved parts and how to’s so that there can be no mistakes.
The price structure of the inspections will change not sure of the changes yet
And the paperwork will change

2011 Nationals we have followed up with the Parklands committee and Parklands will definitely
be there for the Nationals should they come back to Queensland. Darryl will make a
submission that they be held in Queensland again all agreed

Set up in the camping grounds at the Boonah Show grounds
Accommodation
Enough power for 100 campsites in the main camping area, more if
necessary
Local hotels and motels within 2km.
Costs
2 separate sets of toilets and showers on either side of the complex
There are about 20 permanent vans on site in their own separate area
Food
Catering supplied by Boonah show soc have a medium sized hall,
enough to seat about 80 at once, more can be set up around the outside
Cruise track around the perimeter
Proposed programme
Friday arrivals,
Set up, cruising and food onsite
Saturday
Breakfast
Short cruise Saturday am through the local area
Lunch at the show grounds
Mid afternoon head off to the Tivoli drive in
Driving events will arranged for the afternoon
Dinner
Early evening Drive in movie
Then back to Boonah
Sunday
Breakfast
Cruise to Moogerah dam (yes it actually has water)
Morning tea
Ski boat rides and skiing if desired (if I can find some)
Jet sprint rides if you are game (will cost) this is a competition jet
sprint boat
Cruise back to Boonah
Off to local winery for lunch and tasting along with local Jazz band
Cruise back to show grounds
Assemble at the showground eatery for presentations and band for the
afternoon, evening. Something to eat drink etc.
