DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
Carol Moskal
Club Director
It’s not the years in
your life that count. It’s
the life in your years. –
Abraham Lincoln
With the start of a
new year, why not make travel one of your
resolutions? Traditions presents
great
opportunities to discover destinations near
and far, meet new friends and embrace all
that life has to offer.
The blustery winter weather has most of us searching
for warmer travel destinations and there are many
exciting places to explore. In April, Traditions will
celebrate the Holland tulip festival during our Castles
Along the Rhine River Cruise. Further into the summer,
we discover the magic of Yellowstone National Park
with its majestic landscapes and abundant wildlife.
During the autumn season we head to Iceland, “The
Land of Fire and Ice.”
If a closer travel destination is preferred, be sure
to review the wide variety of options in our “Short
Getaway” and “Day Excursions” sections of the
newsletter. We also hope you’ll consider spending a
morning with Traditions by joining us for one of our
informative presentations in our branch locations.
As a benefit of Traditions, members receive a direct
mailing of the newsletter and enjoy discounts on
various bank products. In an effort to make these
transactions more convenient for you, we will
no longer print coupons and include them in the
newsletter. Instead, simply inform our staff that you
are a member of Traditions to take advantage of
these discounts. Each discount is limited to one per
member household per year.
The following discounts apply:
$15 discount on the annual Safety Deposit Box fee
$7 discount on Deluxe check order
$5 discount on license renewal sticker
1 stop payment fee waived
We are excited about new adventures in the months
ahead and encourage you to make this the year to
pursue your dreams. We look forward to seeing you
at one of our upcoming Traditions events!

Saints and Sinners Tour
The Ark Encounter and Belterra Casino
$399 – Per person, double occupancy
$499 – Single occupancy
Add $25 for guests
In the midst of the rolling hills of Kentucky is an
amazing spectacle you have to see to believe, a
replica of Noah’s Ark that is seven stories tall and
a football field and a half long. As you enter Noah’s
world aboard the massive Ark, you will tour three
decks filled with stunning exhibits. These exhibits
allow you to experience what Noah’s life may have
been like. How would all the animals have fit and
how would Noah have taken care of them? This new
attraction brings the biblical story to life.
A short distance from the Ark is the perfect place
to escape and relax on the banks of the Ohio River,
Belterra Casino Resort. This beautiful resort features
luxurious accommodations and first-class dining
options. We’ll spend two nights at Belterra, giving us
ample time to try our luck in the on-site casino. Before
we return home, we enjoy a great story of rowdiness
and redemption at the popular Beef & Boards Dinner
Theatre where we see “Ring of Fire”, the Johnny
Cash musical.
this great day immersed in the incredible cocoa bean.
We will begin with a tour of Long Grove Confectionery,
where you are welcomed by the sweet smell of
chocolate as you view the production areas. The
decorative use of colored hand-painted chocolate
is a signature of Long Grove. Since 1975, this
confectioner has been combining art and chocolate
as evidenced by the chocolate reproductions of
paintings by Monet and Seurat adorning the walls.
After the tour, you have the opportunity to shop in the
Long Grove Confectionary store which is filled with
luscious, premium chocolates.
Our lunch will be served at The Chocolate Sanctuary,
a chocolate lover’s paradise. This restaurant infuses
and celebrates the cocoa bean in many forms on the
menu.
After lunch we will head to the elegant studios of Bottle
and Bottega where we will each create a dazzling
work of art with a paintbrush in one hand and a glass
of wine in the other. Here, regardless of artistic skill,
everyone can create their own masterpiece.
