Objective: To use properties of midsegments to solve problems. Midsegment: A segment that connects the midpoints of two sides of a triangle. (There are three in every triangle.) Midsegment Thoerem:
• The segment connecting the midpoints of two sides is parallel to the third side.
• The segment connecting the midpoint of two sides is 1/2 the length of the third side.
