GUIDED BIRD WALK

8:00-9:30 am: Guided bird walk with a local expert
Enjoy a walk along the Big Thompson River and learn about birds in our area
Loveland Open Lands Volunteer Denise will lead this
walk to help search for and identify local birds,
including songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors.
 Easy 1-mile walk on mostly level, paved and
possibly some natural-surface trails.
 Binoculars, water and comfortable walking shoes recommended.
 All ages welcome.
Meet in the east parking lot of Centennial Park
(977 W. 1st Street) for a leisurely walk on the paved
Recreation Trail to Fairgrounds Park and back.
The walk may also include portions of River's Edge
Natural Area if conditions are favorable.
