The annual Samaria Days celebration is coming up this Friday and Sarurday, July 23 and 24. This year's "good
old-fashioned celebration" will coincide
with the Days of '47 commemoration of
the Mormon Pioneers'entry into the Salt
Lake Valley.
Friday evening's event will be devoted
primarily to the Samaria Days Queen
Contest. followed by an outdoor movie
with a concessionstand.
Saturday activities will get underway
early with the Wild Blue Goose Chase/
Run or Walk events beginning at 7:05
a.m. followed by a country breakfast at
the park from 7:15 to 9:30.
