Basic use: Use Show Kote® Exterior paint on
primed or previously painted wood, hardboard
siding, cured unpainted or painted masonry
block, stucco, non-glazed brick, concrete, aged
aluminum siding, primed steel, and primed
galvanized metal.
Limitations: Do not apply Show Kote paint at
temperatures below 50°F, or during inclement
weather, when precipitation appears imminent,
or when freezing may occur before the Show
Kote paint is fully cured. Show Kote paint is not
recommended for high traffic areas such as
floors. Do not apply Show Kote paint to an
unstable, unspecified surface or any surface that
is dirty. Do not apply at a thicker cover rate than
indicated because mud cracking may occur. DO
NOT STORE AT TEMPERATURES AT OR BELOW
FREEZING (32°F)
Sizes: Available in 1-gallon and 5-gallon
containers.
Coverage Rate: Show Kote paint is applied up to
350 to 400 square feet per gallon in one coat,
depending on surface. Multiple coats may be
required when covering unprimed, textured or
porous surfaces. On irregular or contrasting
surfaces, 250 to 350 square feet per gallon is
recommended. Wet mil thickness at 350 square
feet per gallon is 2.0 mils, vary with type of
surface.

Temperature:
*Dry time for Show Kote will vary depending on
temperature, humidity, thickness at which the product is
applied and wind. Lower wind speed, higher humidity or
higher wet film thickness will increase the dry time in excess
of the reported average.
Application
Mixing/thinning: Mix thoroughly before use.
Surface Preparation: Remove all loose or
peeling paint, rust, or deteriorating substrates.
Clean all surfaces ensuring removal of dirt,
grease, oil, wax, and polishes. Blistering,
peeling, chalking, and flaking paint must be
removed.
Application: Apply Show Kote finish coat with
roller, brush, or sprayer at the recommended
application rate.
Disposal:
Dispose of product in accordance with local
state and federal regulations governing
hazardous waste.

of the reach of children. If spraying use a NIOSHapproved dust/mist mask.
First Aid: Eyes – immediately flush with plenty
of water for at least 15 minutes. If a contact lens
is present, DO NOT delay irrigation or attempt
to remove the lens until flushing is complete.
Skin – wash with soap and water, followed by a
thorough rinse. Ingestion, if swallowed, DO NOT
INDUCE VOMITING, dilute with three to four
glasses of water. Immediately call a Poison
Control Center or physician for further
instructions. Inhalation – immediately move to
fresh air.

Storage:
Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
Store in a cool place, above 40° F. Keep from
freezing.
Clean-up:
While the coating is still wet, clean yourself,
tools and the area with water. If the coating is
not fully dry, it can easily be removed with
a solution of MOX® Multipurpose Cleaner and
water.
