A Drop in the Ocean Week #5 Discussion Questions Introduction: What if everything we know about God today is just a drop in the ocean? This is the question and premise for this exciting message series! This is week #5 and the last week of the series called A Drop in the Ocean. Think about this, what if God is so much more than you thought He was? You see, over and over again in the Bible, God is compared to the ocean or the sea. The vastness of who He is would blow our mind, just as when Moses asked God to show him who He really was and that he wanted to know all about Him. God in turn said Moses could not handle it, and to lovingly demonstrate, He walked by showing Moses just a tiny glimpse of Himself and Moses knees buckled! Moses immediately began to worship and said he had no idea God was SO awesome. As we dive into this new series, we'll explore how our perspective of who God is and how deep His love is, directly impacts our ability to grasp the definition of faith. Faith is confidence that God is who He says He is and He will do everything He's promised to do. It’s all about perspective, and wouldn't life be more doable if we had a better perspective if God and how much He really loves us? God is so much bigger than we could ever imagine, and he reveals more of himself to us every day. Questions: 1. Does the size, depth and scale of the ocean surprise you?
