The seminar on the Tomatis Method is free.
For accomodation we offer full board at the Albergo
Casa del Pellegrino (www.albergocasadelpellegrino.eu
- € 42 per day in a double or triple room - possibility of
a single room by request and on payment of a
supplement). Full board is calculated fromm dinner on
the evening preceding the start of the course to the
midday meal on the last day of the course. For those
who do not attend the entire course a small increase on
the daily price (course+hotel) will be applied.

For each course to be confirmad if must have a
minimum of 5 students.
The lessons start on the morning of the day indaicated
but it is advisable to arrive the previous evening.
The courses on Gregorian Chant and the Workshop on
the 1400s are compatible. Students can attend both, if
they wish, at no extra cost. Conferences and study
will be organised for the evenings.
At the end of the course and at the discrption of the
teachers, some students may take part in a public
performance. Teaching material will be published on

MADRIGAL WORKSHOP

WORKSHOP FOR VOICE &INSTRUMENTS
THE 1400s IN FRANCE AND ITALY
Advanced level: The madrigals of Carlo Gesualdo - a
parti reali. The course will be held with a number of
students appropriate for the voice parts. If necessary
auditions will be held.
Basic level: The madrigal of the 1500s(Willaert, de
Rore, Lasso, Marenzio) - a parti reali or with voices
duplicated. No audition in order to participate.

HARPSICHORD
Alina Rotaru (20-25 August)
The choice of repertory is free. Music by Froberger,
Couperin, Frescobaldi, Sweelink, Buxtehude. Sonate to
Harpsichord and viol from J. S. Bach (according with
viol’s course). This masterclass is aimed at historical
keyboard instrument players: students, professional and
non-professional musicians.

LUTE - TIORBA - HISTORICAL GUITAR
Rosario Conte (23 - 26 August)
Written solo parts for the renaissance and baroque lute,
the archlute, the tiorba, baroque and romantic guitar.
Study of the practice of the Figured Bass and of the
historical improvisation using these instruments, with
particular attention to their specificities (Bells for the
tiorba and the baroque guitar, the Montesardo alfabet
etc). Chamber music for instruments/voice from the XVI
to the XIX century. The course is also aimed at classical
guitarists who would like to study in depth the historical practice and the Figured Bass for their instrument.

RECORDER AND FAMILY OF RECORDERS
Stefano Bragetti (26 August - 1 September)
The course will focus on a solo repertoire (programme
according to level) and an ensemble one, it will be
combined in part with the workshop on the 1400s.
Marcello Serafini (instruments, manuscript
transcription), Vera Marenco (voice), with the
collaboration of Aimone Gronchi and Maria
Notarianni (27 August - 1 September)
Study of the repertoire of the 1400s, by examining one
of the Italian Masses (choir accompanied by
instruments and with gregorian inserts) and the secular
songs of Dufay (for one, two, three voices with
instruments).
The course is open to singers and instrumentalists
(plucked instruments, those with bows or keyboards,
percussion, wind instruments) and includes work in
small groups as well as in a choir and in voiceinstrument ensembles.

The basics of the gregorian chant, concentrating in
particular on an understanding of the adiastematic
notation. A study of the Gregorian Proper for the Mass.
