Singer/guitarist Afie Jurvanen has been a
sideman for indie luminaries like Feist, Jason
Collett, and Howie Beck, but his solo work
under the moniker of Bahamas offers a breezy,
sure-handed blend of sun-kissed folk and alt-country. His latest
album - Bahamas Is Afie is every bit the intimate, existential artistic
statement that its title implies.

Scottish-born Canadian carpenter-turnedsongwriter…a truly authentic folk singer,
Francey is a documentarian of the working
person who never imagined earning a living from his music. But
when he was in his 40s, his wife, artist Beth Girdler, encouraged
him to share his songs and sing in public. The reaction was instant.

Canada. Since then, he has released eleven albums and won three

overflowing with vitality and variety from start

undeniable Celtic charm, Daryl, James and Matthew are breaking
the traditional stuffy tenor mould and pioneering a new style of
“cool” never before seen on the classical stage. They genuinely love
what they do and it shines through in each rendition of beautiful
Celtic songs like the haunting Danny Boy and exhilarating classics
like Nessun Dorma. This is more than a performance by world-class
artists – it’s an emotive and uplifting musical voyage, an evening
