Parking
Please note that there is no on-campus parking for visitors unless
special arrangements have been made. Information about car parking
in the surrounding area is available at:

Parking availability on campus can be limited, particularly at the
start of Trimester 1. We encourage you to consider alternatives such
as the intercampus shuttle bus and the BVAC park and ride service,
public transport, cycling and carpooling. Visit:

To park on campus, you will require a parking permit. Please note
that buying a permit allows you to park in defi ned zones but does
not guarantee that a space will be available. Different permits apply
in different areas so please follow the signs. Long term permits can
be purchased from Deakin Central. Daily permits can be purchased
using the PayByPhone parking app or from parking permit vending
machines located in car parks. See

Security Offi cers are available on campus 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Call 222 from any internal phone, or 1800 062 579 or
5227 8222 from any phone. Subject to availability, a Security Offi cer
can accompany you to your vehicle or another location on campus
whenever you do not feel comfortable making the trip alone. Call 10
minutes before you wish to leave.
