CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS The countdown is on, with only 12 days to go until Christmas, so it’s time to celebrate. Let us celebrate with great joy, remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season! CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT – LAST SUNDAY The 4GR Mayoral Carols by Candlelight in Queen’s Park last Sunday was a tremendous success. Local churches had a key role again this year, and all soloists were devoted Christians. Around 10,000 people attended, and it was great to see lots of HumeRidge people in the crowd (& on stage too). CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL – THIS WEEK Middle Ridge Uniting Church again hosts Toowoomba’s Christmas Tree Festival. The festival runs from 9am to 9pm daily, until Friday 18th December, and there are concerts each day at 10.30am & 7pm. Free refreshments include tea or coffee with Christmas cake or slice. This event has become an institution in Toowoomba. Don’t miss it! HUMERIDGE CHRISTMAS SERVICES Finally, don’t forget our special Christmas Services here at HumeRidge.
