with Easy Homemade Dressing

3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (or 2 teaspoons sugar)

Cut cabbage into thin slices and grate carrot.
Boil water in a pot and add cabbage. Cook only for one minute.
Drain and rinse to stop the cooking process.
To make homemade salad dressing, whisk vinegar, soy sauce, oil,
and maple syrup (or honey or sugar) together in a small bowl.
