October 16th PSAT,
SAT, and Readistep
testing will take
place during the
school day.
Seniors will be taking the SAT.
Freshmen and sophomores taking Geometry will be taking the PSAT.
Eighth graders and
freshmen taking Algebra will be taking
the Readistep test.
The Readistep test
is a test that is similar to the PSAT and
the SAT test. It prepares the students
for the type of questions they will see
on the PSAT and
the SAT test. The
school will receive
official results from
College Board.
Results will be
mailed home and
also place in student
file.
Other News and Notes
Vision/Hearing
Screenings
The nurse will be
starting Vision/
Hearing screenings
on September
23,2013. If students
wear hearing aids/
glasses, they should
wear them everyday
from now on. If
parents have any
questions or concerns, feel free to
contact our school

Progress reports will
be going home next
Wednesday, September 25th.
PTO Meeting
9/19 6:30PM HSA
Euless Cafeteria
The first PTO meeting will be Thursday
9/19 at 6:30 pm in
the HSA Euless (5 to
12) cafeteria. We
will be holding the
election for officers
for the coming year.
All positions are up
for election. In order
to vote you must
have paid your
membership dues.
You will have the
opportunity to pay
your dues at the
meeting.
President: Supervise
and Control all of
the activities of the
organization
First Vice President:
Membership, Manage the PTO membership drive
Second VicePresident: Fundraising, Coordinate
fundraisers with the
school event coordinator
Secretary: Record
and distribute
minutes, Prepare
agendas
Treasurer: Responsible for all funds of
the organization and
shall receive and
give receipts for
monies due and
payable to the organization from all
sources.
Assistant Treasurer:
Assist the Treasurer
with his/her assigned duties
Parliamentarian:
Responsible for publicity for all events of
the organization.
Ensure that proper
elections protocol is
followed during elections.
