Yoga and Pilates run as courses-please enquire with the Health Club for the price of these courses. Zumba is available for €8 per class. All new class participants must complete a health history questionnaire prior to first class. Please notify your instructor of any injuries or illnesses you may have at the start of each class. All intending participants in TRX must complete a once off induction prior to participating in the class. This must be pre-booked. TRX Build Strength, Balance, Flexibility & Burn Fat Using Suspended Straps & Your Own Body Weight. Induction Necessary Aqua Splash Work in the water with no impact on joints. Aids cardio fitness and toning, with a bit of fun thrown in! Cycle Reebok Indoor Cycling with powerful music-you set the resistance on your individual bike, while guided through flats, hills and intervals. Burns an average of 650 cals per hour. 3 Types Available: Pumped Up Cycle – half hour cycling & half hour studio weights; Cycle Express – Studio cycling session only (no abs) for those in a hurry! Cycle Reebok & Abs – 40 mins studio cycling and 10 mins full on abs afterwards in studio! Pilates * No Pain, All The Gain!! Targets the deep postural muscles of the body through a series of exercises building strength, coordination, balance, concentration and control of the body. 3 Levels of Classes Available. Must be booked in advance-see notice boards for details HIIT Countdown Strength Express H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) has become a popular way to burn fat, improve endurance and build strength. This time effective challenging class alternates short intense periods of exercise with less intense recovery periods. You will complete a set of 5 exercises 50 times, then 40, 30, 20 and finally 10 times. Strength Express is a half hour class working on total body strength and conditioning using a combination of equipment such as kettlebells, medicine balls and dumbbells as well as matwork. A great compliment to your cardio routine. Children’s Swim Lessons * Children’s swim lessons for those aged 5 years and older take place each Monday and Friday and last 30 minutes per group. All abilities from Beginners to Intermediate and Advanced swimmers are catered for. Places can be booked by contacting the Health Club directly. Private lessons are also available by request. Lessons are open to both members and non members. 50:50 Burn n Shred A highly effective fat burning and toning class. Half of the class is dedicated to cardiovascular exercise in different modes designed to get you out of breath and burning calories. The other half is dedicated to building toning and developing strength with a variety of equipment such as TRX, kettlebells and dumbells.
