The Egyptian American International School Grade 4 English Paper 1 Semester 1 Exam Study Guide The information in this document will help to prepare you for the exam. Make sure you read the text, review notes, worksheets, homework, and old quizzes and tests. Good Luck The duration of the exam is one hour and it will count as 50% of the total mark for the Language Arts Exam. How to Study for the Literature Exam: Reading skills : Students should be able to use the different reading skills acquired to answer questions on an unseen reading comprehension. Genre: Students should be able to answer questions addressing the identification of different genres and recalling the genres of the different selections covered. Vocabulary: Students should be able to: Identify the meaning of the words through context. Use the words to complete sentences. Use the words in proper sentences.
