Chic Brodie MSP talking about his life.
An MSP called Charles
Brodie 68 years old talking about
his life. His nick name is Chic
Brodie. His interests are golf,
yoga and reading
Biographies/Autobiographies.
He has 3 children and his
partner has 2 children. His
children are called Katie, Gregor
and Elidih; his partner’s children
are called Brian and Liam. His
partner is called Mary. He has 10
grandchildren are called Nial,
Cameron, Jack, Evie, Ellie,
Maggie, Fraser, Grace, Lucy and
Callum.
All of the schools he’s went to
are in Dundee. His primary school
was Downfield Primary School,
and then he went to Morgan
Academy then finally St Andrews
University when he studied
chemistry and physics.
His favourite colour is royal
blue. His favourite foods are
smoked salmon and scrambled
eggs put together, favourite
football team is Dundee , his
favourite TV shows are Mrs
Brown’s Boys, Have I got news
for you, detective shows and the
news.
His first car was an mg series; it
cost £15 and he sold it for £22.
He had an Audi turbo and he put
petrol in it when it was a diesel
car; he took it to the garage and
when he went to pick it up, it
went up in flames and his Audi
turbo was wrecked.
He’s been to America,
California, Las Vegas, Sweden,
Denmark, France, Paris, Egypt and
lots more places. His party is called
the SNP - it stands for Scottish
National Party. There are 20’000 SNP
members in Scotland. He gets
£57’000 pound a year not including
tax. He lives in Ayr.
Why he wanted to be an MSP:
because you get involved and help
others and he likes to show off at
times.
His party believes in Scotland to
be independent.
He works for Alex Sammond.
His favourite part of being a
MSP is because you get involved in
important conversations and he gets
to help others.
He got involved because of an
election; now he is happy to be an
MSP because of that election.
This week on Mondays he stays in
Edinburgh, On Tuesdays he goes to
the committee to talk about drugs, On
Wednesdays they talk about transport
at the debate chamber, On Thursdays
the minister gets questioned then later
on he goes to Paris, On Fridays he
fly’s back from Paris, On Saturday
it’s a meeting and on Sunday he goes
to the church to remember the people
who took part in the war.

them all about
himself and all
about what he
does on a daily
basic and his
interests and here
they are. His real
name is Charles
Brodie. His
favourite foods
include pizza and
chilli hotdogs; he
likes to spend
time with his
family and he
enjoys golf, yoga
and reading. He
is 68 years of
age.
Chic was
married and got
divorced but is
now with a
partner called
Mary. His
favourite colour
is royal blue and
he likes to watch
Mrs Browns
Boys, Have I Got
News for You?,
detective movies
and the film
Madagascar.
He also likes to
watch the news
when he is able.
He used to live
in Dundee but
moved to
America before
returning to Ayr
in Scotland.

Alex Salmond
and the SNP
party. He got
involved by
handing out
leaflets to doors
and then got
elected to be an
M.S.P. His party
believes that
independence for
Scotland is the
only way to

name is Charles

is 68 years old and
loves to play golf

good magic. He has
three children called
Greg, Katy and
Eilidh and has two
step children and
also has ten
grandchildren. He
grew up in Dundee
but now lives in Ayr.

Chic Brodie’s
favourite time of
year is autumn
because he likes it
when the trees start
to change colour.
For Chic Brodie’s
21st birthday he got a
really nice car from
his parents which
they paid only £15
for; when he sold it,
he got £22.

member of the SNP.
Chic Brodie became
an MSP because he
helped at elections
and got asked to
stand for the local
government and he
wanted to help
hospitals and schools
get through hard
times and loved it.
His party believes in
independence for
Scotland. His
favourite parts of his
job were being
elected and speaking
in the chamber. This
week in his job he
will hold meetings
about schools and
businesses and speak
about drugs and
transport problems.
On Thursday he fly’s
to Paris and has a
meeting about
independence while
speaking French. On
Friday he comes
back from Paris and
on Sunday he is
attending church
where they will have
a minutes silence to
remember the people
who died in the war.
