Lassen Volcanic National Park Join us in studying the human and natural history of volcanic northern California. This course will take you through lava tubes, atop the peak of a volcanic cinder cone (and down in the crater, if you dare), to the site of the last major American-Indian war, and into Devil’s Kitchen (California’s own mini-Yellowstone). Orientations: Fridays: May 6th, 13th, & 20th 2016 – 6:00-8:30 pm Natural History Museum (Room S109) The course begins with three classroom orientations (required), and then we’re off into the field!
