Project: Constructing a Dance Floor
Background Information:
You work for a construction company. A client comes in and requests that you design a mosaic pattern for a dance floor in his new club. The dance floor will be 16 foot by 20 foot and feature a very geometric design involving congruent triangles. Your boss wants you to design the floor. Here is the list of specifications the client requested.
Requirements:
1) every triangle must be congruent to at least one other triangle
2) you must have at least 30 triangles in the design
3) you can include quadrilaterals, but no quadrilateral can be bigger than 3 ft by 3 ft
4) there must be more triangles that quadrilaterals
5) the more interesting the design, the more pleased your client will be
6) your design can be any colors you want, but it must be colored
