A valid passport is required for all Westerners (U.S., Canada, UK and Australia) travelling abroad. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your date of return. Your passport should have the recommended number of blank pages for visa stamp(s). Many countries require a visa for entry. Visa requirements vary by country. Some countries issue visas upon arrival. Some countries require visas obtained before arrival. Visa costs and requirements may be subject to change. Although World Spree will endeavor to notify you of any changes, it is your own responsibility to ensure you obtain the correct visas and to pay any applicable charges or costs incurred in order to obtain those visas. If you are not a passport holder of U.S. and Canada, it is your own responsibility to find out the passport and visa requirements for each country on your itinerary. Your Passport Your passport should have at least 4 blank pages for visa stamps for this trip. Please take a moment to check if your passport meets all of these requirements. If not, you may be refused entry into a country. And if that happens, you might be required by that country to return to your departure city immediately, which would be at your own expense. If you need to renew your passport or get extra pages For U.S. passport holders contact the National Passport Information Center (NPIC) at 1‐877‐487‐2778, or visit their website at www.travel.state.gov for information on obtaining a new passport, renewing your existing passport, or for additional pages. You can renew your passport by mail if it is not damaged, you obtained it within the last fifteen years, and it’s in the name you want on your new passport. Many local post offices carry forms for renewing by mail or obtaining extra pages. Allow several weeks for processing your passport. Visas Required for this trip Visas are required to enter Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Thailand does not require a visa for passport holders of U.S., Canada. World Spree can assist you to obtain Visa On Arrival (VOA) to Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, if you are arriving in Vietnam by air. Note, Visa On Arrival for Vietnam cannot be granted at any land border crossing. If entering via a land crossing to Vietnam you must already be in possession of a valid visa. You do not need to obtain the visas prior to departure for Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. A Letter of Approval is sufficient for you to board your flight to Vietnam. Then visas can be granted at customs upon arrival into Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. There are other visa agencies offering paperwork for Visa On Arrival, we do not recommend that you use their service. World Spree does not take responsibility neither can provide any assistance for any complication of your visa application if you use services from other agencies. Visa Fees for this trip Vietnam Visa Fees: $115 ($70 paid to World Spree; $45 Visa Stamp Fee* paid upon arrival in Vietnam Customs). Cambodia Visa Fee: $30 for Visa On Arrival (VOA)*. To be paid upon arrival at Cambodia Customs. Laos Visa Fee: $35‐$45 (depending on your nationality) for Visa On Arrival (VOA)*. To be paid upon arrival at Laos Customs. (USA: $35, Canada: $42, UK: $35, AU: $30). Thailand does not require visa for passport holders of U.S., Canada, UK and Australia. *Visa On Arrival (VOA) and Visa Stamp Fee charged by the government of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos varies depending on your citizenship and is subject to change without prior notice How to obtain Visa On Arrival (VOA) As an alternative to the traditional way of obtaining a full visa stamp from the Vietnamese Embassy in your own or another country before your departure, VOA is very simple as well as being cost effective. World Spree Travel works with our ground operator in Vietnam to obtain an official Letter of Approval that you present at the VOA counter when you land in Vietnam. You then pay a separate visa stamp processing fee (USD$45 for 30 day single entry, cash only) and receive your passport back with a full visa stamp inside. Visa to Vietnam $70 + $45 = $115 per person with details below. Letter of Approval and Visa Assistance Service for Vietnam Visa USD$70 will be charged by World Spree to process 1) your private Letter of Approval for each party, which you present to VOA counter at the Vietnam airport, and 2) additional Visa Assistance Service that helps you to expedite this process at your arrival airport. Note, VOA process at Vietnam airport can be very slow because of long waiting line; therefore World Spree order Visa Assistance Service via our Vietnam ground operator so 1) someone will walk you through this process; 2) you don't have to fill in the other Visa Application upon arrival; and 3) most importantly, you don't need to queue. Visa On Arrival for “Land Only": Since you take care of your flight to Vietnam on your own and may not arrive with the main group at the same time, you need to email your flight schedule to [email protected], so we can make arrangement for your Visa On Arrival Assistance Service. Visa Stamp Processing fee at Vietnam Airport The following fee will need to be paid in USD cash only directly to the Visa On Arrival counter at your arrival airport in Vietnam. USD$45 for one month (30 days) or 3 month (90 days) single entry visa ‐‐ This is what you need for this trip. The alternative options are also available if required: USD$65 for less than 30 day multiple entry visa USD$95 for a 30‐day or more multiple entry It is absolutely vital that you have your visa stamp processing fee on you, in cash. There are no money machines (ATMs), money changers or any other way of withdrawing money in the immigration hall and the authorities do not take credit card or check payment. You also need to bring one photo (2x2) (one photo for each country) along with the payment and VOA Approval Letter to VOA Counter at Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos entry port. The above information is provided specifically for our 23‐Day Indochina's Ever Changing Faces tour itinerary with scheduled group departures.
