For returning students whom wish to request a room change
or single room for the 2012-2013 academic year may do so by
selecting the web link below.
http://valpo.edu/reslife/assets/webform/RoomChange.php
Please be aware of the following items:
You must have selected a room assignment for the Fall 2012
in order to make a room change or single room request. If
you have not selected a room for the Fall 2012, then contact
the Office of Residential Life for a housing assignment before
completing the online form.
Make Sure that your roommate(s) (REQUESTED OR
CURRENT) also submits a room change request form.
ROOMMATE REQUESTS MUST BE MUTUAL, and on
file from all roommates involved in the room change request
before a change request can be processed.
We will be processing the room change requests in three
cohort groups. Each cohort group will be determined by the
date the request was submitted. Requests submitted by
APRIL 15, 2012, will be placed in the first cohort group,
priority going to those individual/groups with the highest
number of completed credit hours. The second cohort group
will be compose of the requests submitted by JUNE 1, 2012,
priority going to those individual/groups with the highest
number of completed credit hours. The third cohort group
will be compose of the requests submitted by JULY 13, 2012,
priority going to those individual/groups with the highest
number of completed credit hours.
Requests will be kept on file in the Office of Residential Life
and processed throughout the spring and summer as space
becomes available until July 30, 2012, at which time all
outstanding request forms will be discarded. Any student who
still desires an assignment change after this date will be
required to file a new change request form. Requests filed
beginning August 20, 2012 will be accepted, but changes will
not be processed until the third week of Fall semester classes.
ROOM CHANGE & SINGLE ROOM REQUESTS
