All the Candidates, who have applied to this college (i.e. the candidates of Institutional Level
Merit Lists as well as candidates of the merit lists to be prepared, after the applications are
submitted latest by 08th August 2016 against vacancies) for admission to F.E. courses should
note that, the current vacancy position in various branches in the college (i.e. as on 06th of
August 2016 at 05.00 pm) after the completion of DTE CAP Admission process is as follows.

As the deadline of application being made against the filling up of vacant seats is 08th of August
2016, candidates (from all the merit lists) should note that there will be an Open Round on
10th of August 2016 to fill up the above mentioned vacant seats. The detailed schedule for
reporting will be put up latest by 08th of August 2016 by 05.00 pm.
The vacancies that may be created due to further cancellation of seats, if any (DTE CAP,
GCLM as well as Institutional Level) from 08th August till 10th of August will also be filled up
in the same round.
Due to the internal transfers according to merit, subsequent vacancies arising on the spot will
also be filled in the same round itself.
Important : All the candidates, who are in the merit lists (Institutional Level Merit Lists
as well as Vacancy merit lists) are eligible to participate in the Open Round irrespective
of what might have happened in previous rounds of admission. This means that, at the
time of admission in this round, a candidate with a higher merit number can secure
admission even if he/she may not have reported for admission earlier or have
taken/cancelled admission earlier.
Candidates are advised to keep all the documents ready (originals + one photocopy) along with
the Demand Draft /Pay Order of Rs. 1,34,636/- (Interim Fee) drawn in favour of “The
Principal, Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering”, Mumbai while reporting for
admission.

Candidates, who have completed their 12th standard from a board other than Maharashtra state
board will have to produce an additional Demand Draft/ Pay Order of Rs. 700/- drawn in favour
of “The Principal, Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering”, Mumbai for the
purpose of verification process for obtaining the eligibility from the University of Mumbai.
Candidates, who have already secured admission during the previous round in this college as
well as CAP admitted candidates are required to bring the original Fee Receipt (Issued in the
Previous Round) as well as a demand draft of Rs.1000/- (transfer fee) at the time of admission,
incase they wish to upgrade their branch in this round.
List of Documents required to be submitted to secure the admission :
The following is a list of documents required to be submitted during the verification process for
confirming the admission.
1. MH-CET Score Card.
2. S.S.C /Equivalent Statement of Marks.
3. H.S.C./Equivalent Statement of Marks.
4. School/ Jr. College Leaving Certificate.
5. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate, if the nationality as “Indian” is
not mentioned in the College Leaving Certificate.
6. Migration Certificate (for other than Maharashtra Board candidates).
7. Affidavit of Minority status in case of Gujarati Category Linguistic Minority (GCLM)
candidates on Rs.100/- stamp paper/ Proforma “O”.
8. Domicile Certificate for Gujarati Category Linguistic Minority (GCLM) candidates.
9. Birth Certificate of the candidate, if the detail is not mentioned in the College Leaving
Certificate.
10. Softcopy of the candidate’s photograph and signature.
11. Any other certificate/s required for various types of candidature as mentioned in the
Information Brochure of State Common Entrance Test Cell for securing admission to
the Undergraduate Technical Courses for the Academic Year 2016-17.
Please Note: if the candidates fail to produce the above mentioned DD (as applicable) and
required documents at the time of their counselling, they will strictly be not given admission and
the same seat will be offered to the next candidate inter-se merit, who will have all the documents.
Students, who may have taken admission currently in any other institute will be allowed to
produce the Retention Letter as against the documents at the time of admission.
