Technical specification
Ubiflex is a lead-free flashing material which can be
used in most applications where lead is traditionally
installed. It is considered by many as the first viable
alternative to lead. It is environmentally friendly,
non-toxic and recyclable.
Roll Size
Colour
Being 80% lighter than lead, Ubiflex gives handling,
structural and health and safety advantages. It is
fully malleable, can be worked in both directions
and is self-sealing if punctured.
Ubiflex allows aprons up to 12m long to be formed
without seams. There is less wastage with Ubiflex
than with traditional materials and it is up to 50%
quicker to install than lead. Plus, it is only of value
to the installer; it has no re-sale value as scrap reducing the threat of theft.

When used as a flashing or valley lining, Ubiflex is guaranteed for 25 years.
Ubiflex is compatible with all common building materials
and components, such as thermal panels, extract flues,
ventilators and rooflights. It can also be used to form
damp-proof courses and cavity trays in masonry walls.

way connected with the product either directly or indirectly will not adversely affect the product or its performance,
prior to, during or after installation.
• This guarantee commences from the date of purchase, proof of which will be required in the event of a claim.
Exclusions
• Any physical damage (after supplied by Eurocell Building Plastics Ltd) however caused to the product,
prior to, during or after installation, including for instance, during the regular maintenance inspections.
• Damage to the product or impairment of its performance caused by any other process,
airborne pollutants or radioactive matter.
• Minor changes in colour
• The use of non-approved accessories.
• This guarantee only applies to the product; liability will not be accepted for
any subsequent damage to other materials and any consequential loss.
