No Más! Cinco de Mayo Fiesta & Castleberry Hill Festival EXHIBITOR APPLICATION Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association and No Más! Productions invite you participate in the 2008 No Más! Cinco de Mayo Fiesta & Castleberry Hill Festival scheduled for May 3-4, 2008. The Festival includes a market featuring arts & crafts, exhibitors, and other vendors. This is a fundraising event for Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association, a 501c3 whose mission is to protect & preserve the historic district. www.castleberryhill.org GENERAL RULES • Booth fee for both days is $100 for a 10’ deep by 10’ wide booth space (booth not provided). For each additional booth space desired, include a separate check for $100. All spaces are located on the spur. A separate check is required for each booth requested. Check(s) for your exhibition fee must accompany your application. • The Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association (CHNA) is responsible only for providing the booth space for exhibitors. Each exhibitor is responsible for his/her own displays. This MUST INCLUDE a standard 10’x10’ festival booth. We advise all exhibitors to bring side walls and weights for their tents in case of inclement weather, as all booth spaces are outside, on the historic railroad spur, and staking is NOT permitted. • The Castleberry Hill Festival reserves the right to refuse exhibitors’ sale of unapproved items. This includes, but is not limited to, items made from kits, resale items, non-handmade work, or that which was not included in the official application. Unauthorized reproductions are not permitted for sale. • • • • • • • • • • Application must be postmarked Saturday, April 5, 2008. There will be no registration after the deadline and no registration the day of the Festival. Application and check will be returned if an application is not accepted, or when available spaces are filled. We do not accept registered mail. Please make check(s) payable to Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association and mail together with the application to: Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association att.: Cinco de Mayo Festival Committee PO Box 10926 Atlanta, GA 30310 No merchandise may be sold at the Festival that creates a public nuisance or large quantities of litter, or which bears the words “Castleberry Hill” or any other wording that links the merchandise to Castleberry Hill. No food or beverages may be sold at the Festival. No amplified music, compressors or generators are allowed for the general booths. Set-up for the exhibition will be Saturday, May 3, from 9:30am to 11:30am. BOOTH PERMITS ARE DISTRIBUTED AT CHECK-IN ON SATURDAY MORNING. Festival volunteers will be available to direct you to your assigned booth location for unloading. Vehicles (maximum ONE per booth) should be parked in designated lots promptly after unloading. Parking is limited; please pack accordingly. Electricity is not provided. Pets are prohibited at the Festival by city ordinance Sec. 142-63(e). Anyone with a pet is subject to a citation from the Atlanta Police. The City of Atlanta festival ordinance requires that your tent must be certified as flame-proof. Please refer to Article IV, Sec. 142-41(e) of the Atlanta Municipal Code. Security personnel will be provided and all reasonable care exercised, but the No Mas! Cinco de Mayo Fiesta and Castleberry Hill Festival shall not be responsible for loss or damage to merchandise or for injury to anyone participating in the show. If insurance is desired, it must be secured by the exhibitor. There will be no rain date. No refunds will be given for cancellation. Page 1 of 2 EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES • Exhibitors accepted for participation must be in attendance during the entire festival. Only one exhibitor may display in a booth unless by special permission of Castleberry Hill Neighborhood Association. All participants will be required to show a photo ID upon check-in. • All work/materials/product displayed must be consistent with the images submitted. • All items shown must be for sale. • No merchandise may be sold at the Festival that creates a public nuisance or large quantities of litter, or which bears the words “Castleberry Hill” or any other wording that links the merchandise to Castleberry Hill. • Exhibitors are accepted on the basis of quality and presentation as determined by an independent jury of business professionals with wide-ranging experience in design and retail. • All exhibitors are responsible for collecting the 8% sales tax for the State of Georgia and Fulton County. A tax form will be provided in your check-in packet. • You will receive notification of the Committee’s decision no later than April 15, 2008. If you are accepted into the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta and Festival, you will receive an acceptance letter and directions to the exhibit area. If you are rejected, your check will be returned.
