ULTIMATE FAN EXPERIENCE
WINNER!
Congratulations to Dick Roy of Lawrenceville for winning the Walton Gas
Ultimate Fan Experience. Roy and his friend Bob Nancarrow were treated
to round trip airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to the University of
Georgia vs. the University of Florida football game in Jacksonville.
“Thanks to Walton EMC for providing the trip I’d long wanted to make but couldn’t
justify economically. It was a wonderful experience and certainly different than
viewing a game in Athens. Tailgating in the Georgia section outside the stadium
allowed us to meet fans from all over the Southeast. I wish I could go EVERY year.”
KICKIN’ IT FOR CHARITY
Walton Gas donates $57,000 to three local charities at the University of
Georgia homecoming football game against Vanderbilt on Oct. 15. Pictured are

“This is the best recipe
for banana pudding
that I have ever had!”
Banana pudding
1–1 ½ boxes (11 oz.) vanilla wafers
1 large box (5.1 oz. or 6 ½ cup
servings size) instant vanilla
pudding
1 container (12 oz.) Cool Whip
3 cups milk, cold
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened
condensed milk
5 or 6 bananas (optional – can also
be made without bananas)
Submitted by Paula Muina of Oglethorpe.

must depend on the accuracy of the cooks sending

and cooking procedures from the recognized experts.
Line a large bowl
with vanilla wafers (two
deep on bottom). Combine
milk and instant pudding
(follow pudding package instructions). When it starts to
thicken, add condensed milk and whisk until smooth. Fold in
half of the Cool Whip. Into the wafer-lined bowl, pour about
¼ of the pudding mixture. Add 1 layer of sliced bananas.
Pour another ¼ of the pudding mixture and then add a layer
(single or 2 deep depending on preference) of vanilla wafers.
Alternate layers of pudding mixture, sliced bananas and
vanilla wafers until you’ve used all of the pudding mixture.
Enter your recipe! The
month’s best entry will

Walton EMC honors employee veterans
Walton EMC recently held its second annual luncheon
honoring current and former employees who served in the
armed forces.
Our nation’s colors were presented by the Monroe Area
High School ROTC, and State Rep. Bruce Williamson
offered his appreciation to the group for their service.
Each veteran received a personalized shirt and patriotic
hat to commemorate the event.
Your cooperative offers a sincere thanks to all veterans.
We appreciate not only their sacrifice, but also the
sacrifice of their families who keep the home fires burning
while they are away protecting us and our way of life.
