These are used by patients who prefer to
sleep in a chair because of respiratory issues.
The chairs can also be used by family members
so they may more comfortably stay with their
loved-ones overnight.
Vital Signs Monitors provide staff with
accurate information about a patient during
their treatment. Ideally, the patient would have
the same monitor for the duration of their
treatment.
Patient Lounge Refurbishment
Cost: Over $10,000
Patients need a dedicated patient and family
lounge with a kitchen and other resources.
Providing distractions from treatment is
important for reducing stress and maintaining
psychological well-being for both cancer patients
and the loved-ones who support them.
