Rehearsals
There will be rehearsals on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:30 pm at RFHS.

All full rehearsals are on Sundays from ​4-6 pm​ in the RFHS Main Gym.

All rehearsals and performances are mandatory. Excessive unexcused
absences will result in removal from Rhythm-Quest. Dates and times are
subject to change.

2016-2017
What is Rhythm Quest?
An ensemble made up of Rock Falls music students. Rhythm-Quest performs
in the off season opposite of the marching band. The purpose of this
group is to retain and refine skills and techniques used during marching
band season. It is a great opportunity for students to experiment with an
instrument they’ve been wanting to play or further improve their music
skills.

During 7th period Band
Wednesdays from 2:30-4:30 pm
Five full ensemble rehearsals on Sunday from 4-6 pm
Is there a fee?
Yes. Just like the basketball or dance team is required to pay for their
special shoes, Rhythm Quest participants are required to pay a fee of ​$50
to help offset the needs of Rhythm Quest. This fee goes towards the
following items:
➢ Rhythm Quest t-shirt (worn at performances)
➢ equipment usage and maintenance
➢ payment for instructors
➢ payment for music supplies
Financial assistance is available. Fees are due by ​Tuesday, November
22nd​. If your student’s fee isn’t paid by this date, their name will be
submitted to the office. Any student with unpaid fees will not be
permitted to attend prom or receive their diploma.
Rhythm Quest is an extension of the RFHS Music Program. Therefore, all
policies and expectations listed in the Music Department Handbook apply to
Rhythm Quest. ​All rehearsals and performances are mandatory. Excessive
unexcused absences will result in removal from Rhythm-Quest.
