Please register me for the Copthorne Prep School Junior Triathlon in support of
Help for Heroes.
What is the Copthorne Prep School Junior Triathlon?
It is a sponsored event in aid of Help for Heroes. Copthorne Prep is runnng this event on Sunday, 22 May
and is open to all children local to the School.
How far will I need to swim, cycle and run?

What are the age restrictions?
All children are welcome and must be between the ages of 6-14. Children must have their own bicycle
and be able to swim unaided.
What do I need to pay?
Registration fee £5 for individual child’s event. The suggested sponsorship target is £15 per person. A

What equipment do I need?
Towel, swimsuit or trunks, goggles (optional but recommended), bike, helmet, trainers, socks and water
to drink. Additional water will be available on the day.
When do I need to register by?
As soon as possible because places will be limited and you need to start training! Registrations close
on 9 May 2016. Late entry subject to availability. Please use a separate registration form for each child
entering.
Prizes to be awarded
• A medal for all competitors
• Prizes for the highest fundraiser per year group
• Prizes for the fastest times per individual event level
On the day
All competitors will receive a goodie bag which will include items from our sponsors. There will be a Tea
Tent, a Barbeque, Beer tent and a Pimms tent. Help for Heroes merchandise will be on sale as well as an
opportunity to purchase an event tee shirt and baseball hat.
