NEWARK, NJ — Kirsten S. Branigan celebrated the opening of her new firm, Law Office of Kirsten Scheurer Branigan, P.C.
on October 27, 2006. Colleagues and close friends joined Ms. Branigan for a cocktail reception at her new office on Academy
Street, Newark, NJ, within walking distance to the Essex County and Federal Courthouses, as well as Newark City Hall.

Ms. Branigan just commenced a two year term as President of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. Ms. Branigan
was also recently appointed to the Diversity Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and to the Board of Directors of Executive Women of New Jersey as By-laws Chair. She is active in community affairs and has served in leadership
positions with several professional associations. Ms. Branigan is a graduate of Rutgers College, with high honors in 1992 and
of Rutgers School of Law-Newark in 1995. She is married and the mother of two small children. Ms. Branigan, both in her
role as President of New Jersey Women Lawyers Association and personally, is dedicated to the advancement and retention
of women in the law. She is likewise committed to efforts to steer the legal profession toward enabling more flexibility for
both men and women and to retain a diverse and talented legal community at all times.
