MassSwimChallengeRules
1. ParticipantswhoarefeelingunwellpriortotheMassSwimeventshouldapproachany
oftheNTUSwimfestOfficialsforadvice.
2. Participants who feel unwell during the course of the Mass Swim event should stay
clear of the pool, approach any of the NTU Swimfest Officials and seek medical
attentionwhennecessary.
3. TheNTUSwimfestOrganizingCommitteereservestherighttodisallowanyparticipant
thatisphysicallyandmedicallyunfitfromtheMassSwimwithoutquestion.
4. Participantswillbeallocatedidentitynumberswhichwillbewritteninblackpermanent
markerontheirleft upperarm.Theidentity numbersmust beclearlyvisible toNTU
SwimfestOfficialsthroughouttheevent.
5. Participantsareonlyallowedtoenterorexitatthedesignatedsideoftheswimming
pool.
6. Participantsareadvisedtoremainintheirdesignatedlanesatalltimes.Participants
canonlyswitchtootherlanesattheendofthepool(100metremark)ifyoufeelthat
you are faster or slower than other participants. Switching of lanes while swimming
duringthelengthoflapwillresultindisqualificationwithoutquestion.
7. NTUSwimfestOfficialwillissueparticipantsonerubberbandforeverytwolapsswam.
8. ParticipantscangatherandpasstheirrubberbandstotheNTUSwimfestOfficialatthe
lapcountingboothsatanypointoftime.Participantsmaywishtodothisasmanytimes
aspossible,andareallowedtocontinuetheirswimaftersubmittingtheirrubberbands.

Rules&RegulationsoftheMassSwimevent.
9. Norubberbandswillbegivenoutifparticipantsdonotcompletethefulltwolaps.The
NTUSwimfestOfficialsreservestherighttodisqualifytheparticipantifheorsheis
foundtobecheating.
10.Ifaparticipantwishestodiscontinuetheirswimhalfway,heorsheshouldapproach
theNTUSwimfestOfficialatthelapcountingbooths.Alapcountwillthenbeissued.
Thislapcountwillentitleparticipantstotheredemptionoflapgifts.Participantsthat
accumulate100rubberbandsormorewillreceiveafinishert-shirt.
11.Participantsarestrictlyprohibitedtobringorusetheirownrubberbandsfortheevent.
Combiningofrubberbandsfromotherparticipantsinexchangeforhighertierlapgifts
areforbidden.TheNTUSwimfestOrganizingCommitteereservestherighttodisqualify
anyparticipantsfoundcheatingduringtheeventwithoutquestion.
12.Incaseofbadweather,theNTUSwimfestOrganizingCommitteereservestherightto
canceltheeventwithimmediateeffect.Intheeventofcancellation,luckydrawforthe
topprizeswillbecarriedout.
13.TheMassSwimwillendat1300hrssharp,regardlessofthetimeofentry.
