CREDIT CHECKS 1. I will be filling this out to students at registration
2. Go to the Course History in focus to try to fill this out yourself
3. Compare what you came up with and what I send home
4. If you have any questions, email me.
5. Use the credit check and the requirements to help guide your student for
registration
PURPOSE OF CREDIT CHECKS
The purpose of credit checks is to make sure the classes recorded in course history
are correct and that you and your student are aware of the graduation
requirements your child has met or has not met.
There are mistakes on the course history printouts because:
Credits are not transferred from middle school correctly
IT has not been able to print a credit check specifically for each of the four years
because each of the four years have different requirements.
FLVS grades have not yet been recorded
Please email your child’s counselor if you see an error on Course History or the credit
check.
Your child will get two credit checks a year from now on. It is their responsibility to
show it to you and make sure they understand the notes written on the credit
check.
