It's Time to Celebrate Fox Lake! Make sure you don’t miss the action in the Village of Fox Lake
throughout the 2016 Season of Festivals and Events.
Over the years, Fox Lake has hosted some of the areas most recognized events. This year, we are
gaining even more momentum and recognition as we introduce new festivals and events that offer
something for everyone and bring together families, friends and business associates from Fox Lake and
surrounding communities.
What better way to celebrate summer! You don’t want to miss the opportunity to be a part of these
Time to Celebrate Fox Lake events.
Some exciting vendor opportunities this year include:

MAKE CHECK PAYABLE TO: VILLAGE OF FOX LAKE PARK & REC DEPARTMENT
You will receive acknowledgement of your application's acceptance, once the Parks and Recreation
Department has reviewed for approval. All vendors will be notified of their acceptance or rejection via
e-mail no later than June 10, 2016. It is critical that all prospective vendors have a valid e-mail address.
Total fees are due on or before June 1, 2016. This will be strictly enforced due to limited space.

All vendors must have liability insurance. You must provide a certificate of insurance naming the
Village of Fox Lake as additional insured’s.
We must receive the certificate of insurance prior to June 30, 2016.
Items for Sale:
Please provide a comprehensive list of items you intend to sell. This is the information that will appear
on various marketing material to promote your products. All items for sale must be pre-approved to
prevent duplications between vendors. (Attach additional sheet if needed)

Temporary Food Service Permit:
All food vendors who will be preparing food on site or providing samples are required to have a Lake
County Health Temporary Food Service Permit (www.lakecountyil.gov), and must submit the permit at
least 7 days prior to the event.

Return application and payment thirty days prior to event date. There are no rain dates
and there will be no refunds. Confirmation will be sent via-email acceptance.

Booth space is first-come, first-serve. Spaces are not guaranteed by participating in
previous shows. Exhibitors must supply their own canopies, display materials, tables, chairs
and extension cords. We reserve the right to limit vendors based on items being sold.

The Village of Fox Lake will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury for any cause to
the crafter, vendors, or their employees or property.

AFFIDAVIT
The participant assumes all responsibility for and shall bear all liabilities and expenses relating to the
products offered for sale. The participant shall save the sponsoring groups, market managers, Village
of Fox Lake, their successors, agents and assigns harmless from and against and indemnify them for all
liability, loss, cost, attorney’s fees, expenses or damages howsoever caused by reason of products sold
by participant or any act of omission of participant, including but not limited to any injury (whether to
body, property, or personal or business character or reputation) sustained by any person to any person
or to property, and for any violation of municipal, state or federal laws or regulations governing the
products of their sale, which may result from the sale or distribution of the products by the participant.
The participant shall further indemnify sponsors, market manager, Village of Fox Lake, their
successors, agents and assigns from all costs and attorney’s fees incurred in successfully defending or
prosecuting any dispute regarding a violation of the rules and regulations set forth under this
agreement.
