TESTING GUIDELINES FOR ADVANCED PLACEMENT STUDENTS
●
All students taking AP exams at French Hill and at Yorktown High School, beginning Monday, May 1
through Friday, May 12, 2017, MUST first report to the high school prior to the exam date.
●
Students taking morning exams at French Hill MUST be at the Main Entrance Lobby of Yorktown HS
by 7:05 AM, after which they will board the buses with their passes.
●
Students taking afternoon exams at French Hill MUST be at the Main Entrance Lobby of Yorktown HS
by 11:05 AM, after which they will board the buses with their passes.
●
Students taking exams at the various room locations in Yorktown High School MUST report directly
to the location listed on the entrance pass at 7:45 AM for morning exams and by 11:45 AM for
afternoon exams.
●
All students MUST take the provided school buses from Yorktown High School to get to the French
Hill exam site. No one will be permitted into the exam without using these buses.
●
No student will be permitted to board the bus or sit for the AP exams without a pass.
●
Students must have their student IDs with them on the exam date which will be checked before
boarding the buses.
●
There is NO parking available for students at French Hill. Do NOT drive to this exam site on your
own. Students must take the buses provided from the high school. This is the only way students will
be admitted to the exam. If you drive to the exam location, you will be sent back to the high school
which will make you late to your exam.
●
Students may bring their own snacks/lunches which may be eaten in designated areas at the exam
site.
●
All students taking afternoon exams MUST attend their morning classes before being dismissed to
the high school main lobby. Students will be excused from their 5th period classes in order to have
lunch before they leave for their afternoon exams.
●
All students taking morning exams MUST return to the high school upon completion of the exam and
report to their afternoon classes. Students returning from morning exams will be given a lunch
break before returning to class. These breaks will be determined day by day, as departures from
French Hill back to the high school will vary.
●
