How does the iTENS work?
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)
uses electrical impulses to stimulate the nerve
endings at or near the site of pain. This reduces the
pain we experience because our body closes the
“gate” that allows pain signals to reach our brain.
Depending on the frequency, the electrical stimulation can also trigger the body to
release endorphins. Endorphins are your body’s natural pain killers.
TENS therapy can provide effective pain relief quickly and for long periods. It is a
