which took my call said someone
would get back to me within the
hour. That time frame concerned me,
but it was in 10 minutes that the
service man (Dale) called me. He
said he would be here in 20 to 25
minutes. He was here in 40 minutes
total with a fair price for the repair. I
was told up front of a $104.00
service call. I am impressed and
grateful for the prompt service. I
asked Dale how long the company
had been in business as I had not
heard of them before and he replied,
since the 1990’s. I plan on keeping

Meet Our Employee…Rodney Facemyer, Jr.
Rodney is a Comfort Consultant for our
company. He is responsible for meeting with
customers to assess their heating and cooling
needs and to recommend the best system to
meet those needs. Rodney has been directly
involved in the HVAC industry since 2005 but he
has been a member of this family owned
business since his father started it years ago.
He learned the business from the inside out
having worked in the installation, service,
bookkeeping, sales and management
departments at Facemyer Heating and Air
Conditioning. Rodney attended Seminole State
College and has degrees in Science and Digital
Media/Interactive Design. With a desire to
continue learning, Rodney is currently working to
obtain his contractor’s license.
On a personal note, Rodney
enjoys landscaping and working
in the yard, cooking and anything
related to computers. He lives in
Orange City with his beautiful
wife, Leesa. They have two cats
named Bobo and Snookie.

CORNER
A Spring Time Favorite —
Strawberry Shortcake
Total Time - Prep: 25 minutes
Bake: 20 minutes.
Makes 9 Servings
 2/3 cup sugar

1/4 cup shortening

1 large egg



1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 cup milk

Whipped Cream

1-1/2 quarts fresh
strawberries, sliced
Directions:
1. In a bowl, cream the sugar
and shortening together.
2. Add egg and vanilla; beat well.
3. Combine dry ingredients and
add alternately with milk to the
creamed mixture.
4. Spread in a greased
9-inch square baking pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for
20-25 minutes. Cool on wire
rack.
6. Cut into nine servings. Split
each serving horizontally
and fill with strawberries and
whipped cream. Replace top
of cake; garnish with more
strawberries and a dollop of
whipped cream.
Serve immediately.
