Who are the IHSFBB?
The IHSFBB is an association of parents, faculty, and members of the
community that are dedicated to providing support to Mr. Green, his
staff, and the students. By doing so, it helps to create, produce, and
perform the best possible concert, marching, and color guard programs.
The boosters support this effort through coordinating donation
opportunities, coordinating fundraising activities, and volunteering at
band and color guard events such as football games, marching
competitions, and so much more!

students participate in the music
program at I.H.S.! Please come
support your student and be a part of
our Band family!
Learning through music is proven
to be linked to increased academic
performance.
Many colleges view participation in
music as contributing significantly
to a child’s intellectual development and colleges consider active
and sequential participation in
band as an elective indicative of
academic rigor, extra curricular
excellence, and a reflection of
discipline and effort.

How is the membership/fundraiser money spent?

On materials to build props for the Fall Field Show.

Pays for entry fees to competitions for the Marching Band, Color
Guard, and Drumline.

The Marching Band’s uniform cleaning and maintenance.

New costumes for the Drumline and Color Guard shows.

On instrument repairs and/or replacement.

Pays for new equipment (harnesses, flag poles, etc.)

