Dogwood Hill School is looking for a cafeteria/playground aide. Two hours per
day with a wonderful group of children! If interested, please contact Mr. Glenn Clark
at 201-337-5822.
Dogwood Hill Spiritwear Sale
The deadline to place your Spiritwear order is this Friday, October 21. Check
out the samples with the new design hanging in the window of the school or view the
colors online at https://dogwoodhill.itemorder.com/sale where you can also place an
order. Another option is to send in your order form with your check payable to
“Dogwood Hill PTO.” Your kids will be excited to show their spirit throughout the
year during spirit days, field trips, Dogwood Day, and the Walkathon.
IMPORTANT: We recommend that before you order, you review the
“Measurement Reference Chart” found in Forms/Documents. We cannot accept
returns or exchanges for incorrect sizes.
Mixed Bag Fundraiser
The Mixed Bag Fundraiser is back and with new items!. Their catalogs have
many different designs and patterns for totes, lunch bags, scarves, household items
and even storage ideas for home and car!
Share the opportunity with family and friends by providing them information
on how they can purchase items online. The link is found on the instruction sheet
attached to the catalog. If each Dogwood Hill family purchases even one bag, we will
meet our goal!
Any questions, please contact Marcia Walker at [email protected] or
Angela Carreira at [email protected]. We look forward to a successful fundraiser!
Snack Sale Fundraiser
Please help us raise money for the 5th grade yearbook by donating snacks to sell
at Family Fun Night! Sign up here to make your donation.
Please send all donations in prior to Friday night marked ‘yearbook donation.’
All items must be NUT FREE! Thank you!
Dining For Dogwood
Our first Dining 4 Dogwood event will be on Tuesday, October 25 at Wendy’s in
Pompton Lakes. Order in or pick up at the drive thru and 15% of your total bill will be
donated back to Dogwood Hill School. This event will take place during the hours of
5–8 pm. Take a night off from cooking and help support our school! Be sure to bring
in our flyer or mention our school when you order.
Helping Hands Food Drive
Mark your calendar! The annual Helping Hands Food Drive will begin Monday,
October 24 and run through Friday, October 28. Please help us provide local families
in need with groceries by sending your child to school with a donation. Our fifth
grade students will help collect, sort and box the items. The groceries will be
delivered to the Mothers’ Club of Oakland who will make baskets to be distributed
during the Thanksgiving holiday. To avoid over-contribution of certain products, we
suggest the following breakdown of goods. However, any contribution is greatly
appreciated!
Kindergarten boxed foods (pasta, rice, cake mix, etc)
Grade 1
paper products (tissues, paper towels, toilet paper, etc)
Grade 2
cereal, tea, coffee, peanut butter
Grade 3
soup, juice, juice boxes, gravy mixes
Grade 4
canned vegetables, fruits, tuna fish
Grade 5
personal items (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc)
Cereal Boxes Needed
We are asking our families to save and send in to school any empty cereal,
cracker and cookie boxes that you have for an upcoming assembly being held for
grades 3–5. The students will be using the boxes to make collages with a visiting
artist.

We’ve add a new page with links to each Homework Club sign-up page. You'll
