What do I do with my checks?
FAQ; Mobile Check capture
Patriot Federal Bank recommends that you retain your
physical check for at least 10 days to ensure that your
deposit was received and processed properly. After 10
days you should shred the checks.
What does it cost?
How do I prepare my checks for deposit?
There is no cost for using this service.
Who can use it?
It is designed for customers with access to our touch
banking mobile app. There are no restrictions
regarding account type or balances. Customers with
the bank for less than 30 days are not eligible to use this
service.
How does it work?
It works just like bringing your checks to the bank. You
take a picture and submit it for deposit. We review the
deposit and approve it, just like at the teller line in-branch.
Your funds are available for purchase and withdrawal the
next business day. (Some restrictions apply, see disclosure
for details.)
Are there any limits?
There is a check limit of $1,500.00 and a daily limit of
$5,000.00. Amounts higher than these will still need to be
processed at your friendly local branch.
Is there a cut-off time?
You may submit a deposit anytime, however you must
submit your deposit before 3:00 PM ET on a business
day for next day availability (business days exclude
Saturday, Sunday, and all bank holidays.)
When will my funds be available?
Funds will be available for purchase and withdrawal
the next business day, following the business day of
deposit. Business days exclude Saturday and Sunday, and
all bank holidays. For instance if you submit a check
Monday at 1:00 PM ET the funds will be available for
withdrawal or purchase on Tuesday. If you submit your
deposit after 3:00 PM ET or if Monday is a bank holiday,
your deposit will be processed on Tuesday and your
funds will be available on Wednesday. Other holds may
apply, see disclosure for details.
Checks must be properly endorsed prior to deposit just
like at the teller line. On the back of the check sign
your name and put your account number on the check.
Also write "Mobile Deposit" underneath your
endorsement.

Checks made payable to anyone other than the account
holder must be deposited in-branch. For example, if
your roommate receives a paycheck and signs it over
to you in exchange for rent, you must present that
check for deposit at a branch, it can’t be deposited by
mobile deposit.
Checks requiring special endorsement, such as Jane Doe
for Susan Doe Rep Payee, or Jane Doe for Susan Doe as
Power of Attorney, etc. may not be deposited
via mobile deposit.
Joint checks, such as insurance, settlement, or taxrefund checks which are made payable to multiple
parties may only be deposited to an account on which
all named parties are OWNERS of the account.
Deposits made via mobile app which are not in
compliance with these policies will be rejected.
