SOLIDARITY LETTER ON FUCI’S 62ND NATIONAL CONGRESS
Dear Members of FUCI
Greetings of peace in this Easter session as we ask the Lord for his breathe upon each one of you
in this feast of Ascension. Indeed he has gone to prepare for us the place as he promised.
The international team of IMCS Pax Romana on behalf of the entire global family of this precious
movement would like to extend this short message of solidarity assuring you of our support and
prayers. It is time in which the human family needs the exercise of democracy at every level of life
and as such, we would like to assure you that it is timely to speak about democracy in Europe
today. For lack of up-risings doesn’t mean in any way the presence of democracy.
The church teaches us to live for the world but not get drown into the world. A message farther
echoed by the Holy Father when he spoke to the youth a week ago and said young people should
ask Jesus for what they want and then be courageous to implement what Christ tells them. You
FUCI are doing what the Lord asked of you and indeed you are doing it courageously.
As this year of faith is about to come to an end, we pray that we remain faithful to the gospel
through listening to the poor and oppressed that surround our homes, neighborhoods, churches,
in our train and metro stations, and in many other unmentioned places and above all our hearts.
We remain proud of you and may the Good Lord bless your efforts. Let peace prevail on earth.
