Glue
Craft sticks*
Large and small drop-shaped wood pieces*
Googly eyes

Pom pom
Pipe cleaner
Scissors
Ribbon or string
Markers, craft paint, sequins, glitter, or stickers
* These should be on the wood aisle of your local craft store
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Glue the 4 craft sticks together in a rectangle leaving some overlap to make legs, as shown.
2. Glue the large drop-shaped wood piece to one of the top corners, and one small
drop-shaped wood piece to the other top corner to make the head and tail.
3. Glue the other 2 small drop shapes to the head to make ears.
4. Glue the googly eyes to the head. Set aside.
5. Fold the pipe cleaner in half two times, then ask an adult to help you cut on the folds.
You should now have 4 pieces made from one pipe cleaner.
6. Shape the pieces of pipe cleaner into antlers by wrapping one around the other.
7. Glue the pipe cleaner antlers to the back of head.
8. Optional step: To add some Animal Jam style, try customizing your deer with
things like paint, markers, sequins, glitter, or stickers.
9. Glue a photo or drawing to the back of the frame.
10. Glue a ribbon or string to the back so it can hang.
11. These deer ornaments make great gifts, or hang them around your house as awesome decorations!
