Minimum country participation
• Above the minimum number, participants in other countries are
eligible to participate.
• Host organisations from 3rd countries can also request funding
for fellows hosted at the sites of the ICPC parnters.

• Min. 2 participants: 1 academic + 1 industrial
• Mandatory enrolment in doctoral programme
• Associated partners from any country / any sector
• Only ESR: appointment for 3-36 months
• At least 50% of time at private sector participant
• Joint selection, training and supervision
• For 2 partners: max 180 researcher-months

RISE
Research and lnnovation Staff Exchange (RISE)

Objective:
– To promote international and intersectoral collaboration
– Shared culture of research and innovation

Joint research programme and innovation activities with short staff
exchanges seconding and hosting staff.

Project of max. 4 years
•
Staff can be early stage and experienced researchers, as well as
technical staff and research managers

• Built-in return mechanism
• Funding for max. 540 researcher months
• No minimum size explicitly defined, but substantial impact is expected
• No mobility rules for RISE
• Staff need to be actively engaged in research activities at least 6 months
