Did you ever wish you could find a buried treasure? What would you do with a
treasure chest of gold and jewels? Would you open it and slowly pull each item
out taking care to examine each piece, or would you grab handfuls, toss them up
in the air, and dance around widely? I don’t suppose anyone would take the
treasure chest, slam the lid down, toss it to the side,
and walk away from it, would they?
Upcoming Events
Yet, each day in our lives we are given a treasure
chest of opportunities. This summer, you have been
selected to open the treasure chest of UB. It may
sound hokey, but think about it. This summer, you
will have the opportunity to stretch your mind,
become a positive leader, and develop your social
skills with a variety of people and personalities.
What will you do with the opportunities that you are
given this summer in UB?
I hope each UB student enthusiastically takes
every opportunity offered this summer. If that
happens, 2009 will be the best UB summer ever!
