Please refer to the list below for those medications that contain Aspirin and/or Ibuprofen. Also included in the list are herbal supplements/vitamins that are known or suspected to increase bleeding. If it is necessary for you to take any medication, please use Tylenol or acetaminophen substitutes. If the medication contains these ingredients, do not use. **BLOOD THINNING MEDICATIONS** Coumadin, Warfarin, Heparin, Plavix and Lovenex are commonly prescribed. If you are taking these or any other blood thinning medications, let us know immediately. We will most likely advise you to stop taking these medication temporarily. You will need to discuss this with the prescribing physician.
