From wine cellar to attic, Hermann’s historic Franciscan friary is filled with lavish holiday
displays. Docents will be on hand. Special motorcoach tours may be arranged during the
week. Proceeds benefit the Hermann Ministerial Alliance. $6.50 /person Weihnachtsfest at Deutschheim
December 5 - January 3
Dressed in period attire, your guide will share the story of Christmas in early Hermann.
Highlights include German Christmas cookies to sample, German ornaments, Victorian toys,
and a German-themed Christmas shop. For groups of up to 25 people. $4 /person
Christmas Tablescapes
December 5-16
The historic Rotunda Building sparkles with elaborate holiday table displays. Warm cider
and carols add to the festivities. Special motorcoach tours may be arranged during the
week. Sponsored by the Gasconade County Historical Society. $5 /person
Christmas with Crystal
Mid-November through December
Enjoy a lunchtime workshop, led by Crystal from Hermann Florist, who demonstrates
quick and easy holiday decorating ideas. Workshop participants create a unique Christmas
decoration to take home. $4.00 /person
Pea Ridge Christmas Tree Farm Tour
Mid-November through December
Take a hayride through fields of evergreens. Visit with the owners, see demonstrations of
wreath-making and bow-tying, and enjoy hot chocolate and cider in the gift shop.
$4 /person — $5 with wagon ride

Mid-November through December
The Historic Hermann Museum, housed in the 1871 German School building, presents
“A Look into the Past.” Tour highlights include costumed docents, 19th-century decorations
and a German bake sale, December 5-6 and 12-13. $5 /person
Christmas in the Country
Mid-November through December
Adam Puchta Winery’s 1840s Homestead Guesthaus features a dozen themed Christmas
trees, beautiful holiday decorations and Santa’s workshop. Enjoy the tour with mulled wine
and a sweet holiday treat. For groups of up to 25 people. $4 /person
Kristkindl Markts
First two weekends of December
Traditional German Christmas markets feature craft booths, Christmas goodies, and
entertainment. The perfect place to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts.
