Coffee lovers have...Caffeine Crawl! 4 years of events across the country set the stage, and August 2015 brings the caffeinated charge back to one of the first states to host the Crawl ­ Colorado! Caffeine Crawl is a product of the innovative team at The LAB, a beverage marketing and creative firm based in Kansas City, MO and Fort Collins, CO. From the first Caffeine Crawl in 2011 to the current 16­city lineup this year, response has been phenomenal. Grab your travel mug ­ the buzz is already building! A Kickoff Party and Latte Art Throwdown at Huckleberry Roasters in Denver on Thursday, August 13th will start the weekend on a high note. Caffeine Crawl Colorado Springs begins at 2pm Friday afternoon, with multiple routes kicking off at Radiantly Raw Chocolate’s new space in Manitou Springs. Participating shops include Wild Goose Meeting House, Switchback Coffee Roasters, The Principal’s Office at Ivy Wild, Peak Place Coffeehouse, Fifty Fifty Coffeehouse, Colony Class pop­up at Mountain Fold Books, and The Coffee Exchange. 4 guided driving routes will take Crawlers on a unique tour of Colorado Spring’s best cafes, with engaging info and samples at each stop. Switchback Coffee Roasters will host the after party on their patio, complete with local brews and food trucks for winding down after a caffeinated afternoon. Saturday will dawn bright and early in Denver, with multiple time and transportation options available. 2 bike routes and 1 driving route begin at 9 am, kicking off from Pigtrain Coffee with Conscious Coffees at Union Station, Copper Door Coffee or Huckleberry roasters. 3 more routes kick off at 1pm, all exploring Denver’s best in coffee, chocolate and tea. Participating shops include Amethyst Coffee Co., Backyard Soda Co., Black Black Coffee, Boxcar Coffee Roasters, Commonwealth Coffee, Corvus Coffee, Drip Denver, Fluid Coffee Bar, Huckleberry Roasters, Metropolis Coffee, Novo Coffee, Purple Door Coffee, The Sophisticate’s Tea, Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters and Thump Coffee. Each stop will include a short presentation and a coffee, tea or chocolate sample. Don’t miss weekend #1 in Northern Colorado the week before ­ Boulder and Fort Collins will host their own Crawls with an additional kickoff party, after party and 20 of the Northern Front Range’s best cafes on August 7­8. Tickets to all Crawls include an event swag bag full of goodies, admittance to your guided tour route, a short presentation and a drink or chocolate sample at each stop.
